FOR ATC PLANNING PURPOSES
A band of showers in association with a mid-level low pressure system will gradually progress over East TN and NC through the afternoon and evening. Outside of this band, more isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible across the airspace, mainly after 21z. Otherwise expect VFR conditions outside of convection under developing FEW/SCT050-080 clouds. Surface winds will be variable at less than 7kts, but most frequently southwest to southeast. Flight Hazards: LGT-MOD turbulence above FL260 and LGT-MOD rime icing 130-200 over NC/TN. Altimeters will remain above 29.92ins. Ceilings below 050 are not expected outside of convection.

Restricted Area Convection: R2102...after 20z. R3002...After 20z. R3004...After 20z.
