FOR ATC PLANNING PURPOSES
Scattered showers and thunderstorms over SE TN and N AL/GA/SC will diminish to isolated showers by 01-03z. Cells will move west to northwest at 10-15kts. Expect VFR conditions outside convection this evening with patchy LIFR/MVFR conditions developing before sunrise, mostly in the N ZTL valleys. Surface winds will be mostly northeast to southeast at 3-8kts and frequently calm, but will be variable and gusty near convection. Flight hazards outside convection: None expected. Altimeters will remain above 29.92ins over all ZTL. Ceilings below 050 are expected near convection and in ZTL areas 1/3/7 after 08z.
