THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE FLORIDA KEYS AND
ADJACENT COASTAL WATERS.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT THE FLORIDA KEYS...AS WELL AS
NEARSHORE AND OFFSHORE WATERS SURROUNDING THE ISLAND CHAIN. THE
PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM HAZARD IS CLOUD TO SURFACE LIGHTNING STRIKES.

IN ADDITION...THERE IS ALSO A MODERATE RISK OF WATERSPOUTS THIS
AFTERNOON. WATERSPOUTS TEND TO FORM WITHIN CLOUD LINES...WITH
DARK...FLAT BASES. BOATERS SHOULD BE PREPARED TO TAKE EVASIVE ACTION
SHOULD WATERSPOUTS FORM NEARBY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

ISOLATED THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE ALONG THE FLORIDA KEYS...AS WELL
AS OVER NEARSHORE AND OFFSHORE WATERS ADJACENT TO THE ISLAND CHAIN.
THE PRIMARY THUNDERSTORM HAZARD WILL BE CLOUD TO SURFACE LIGHTNING
STRIKES.

FLORIDA STRAITS...MAINLY OVER FLOYDS WALL THROUGH THE MARATHON HUMPS.
BRIEF DOWNPOURS AND A FEW LIGHTNING STRIKES CAN BE EXPECTED WITH
THESE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS AS THEY DRIFT SLOWLY TOWARD THE
NORTHWEST AND NORTH AROUND 5 KNOTS.

WILL AFFECT MAINLY AREAS OVER THE INTERIOR FROM NORTHERN BREVARD AND
INLAND VOLUSIA COUNTY TO THE ORLANDO METRO AND LAKE COUNTY INTO LATE
AFTERNOON. A FEW STORMS MAY BECOME STRONG WITH CLOUD TO GROUND
LIGHTNING STRIKES...GUSTY WINDS AND LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF
ONE TO TWO INCHES. TEMPERATURES WILL BE IN THE MID TO UPPER 80S NEAR
THE COAST AND LOWER TO MID 90S OVER THE INTERIOR.
