...GUSTY NORTHEASTERLY WINDS AND ELEVATED SEAS EXPECTED SUNDAY
THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT...

.NORTHEASTERLY PRESSURE GRADIENT WILL TIGHTEN SUNDAY THROUGH
MONDAY NIGHT BETWEEN HIGH PRESSURE BUILDING SOUTH FROM THE MID-
ATLANTIC STATES AND A STALLED FRONTAL BOUNDARY WELL SOUTH OF THE
WATERS. NORTHEAST WINDS WILL GUST NEAR 25 KT AT TIMES. SEAS WILL
BUILD 4-7 FT FOR THE CENTRAL AND NORTHERN WATERS...AND FOR THE
OUTER FRINGES OF THE SOUTHERN COASTAL WATERS. WINDS AND SEAS
SHOULD SUBSIDE BELOW SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THRESHOLDS TUESDAY.

ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM NOON TODAY TO 8 PM EDT THIS
EVENING.

* LOCATIONS...ALL OF SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA AND SOUTHEAST GEORGIA.

* HEAT INDEX VALUES...UP TO AROUND 110 DEGREES DUE TO A
  COMBINATION OF HIGH TEMPERATURES RANGING FROM THE MID 90S ALONG
  THE IMMEDIATE COAST TO AROUND 100 FARTHER INLAND AND MODERATE
  LEVELS OF HUMIDITY.

* IMPACTS...THE COMBINED EFFECTS OF HEAT AND HUMIDITY COULD LEAD
  TO HEAT ILLNESSES IF PROPER PRECAUTIONS ARE NOT TAKEN.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IF YOU MUST BE OUTDOORS...DRINK PLENTY OF FLUIDS...WEAR LIGHT
WEIGHT CLOTHING AND STAY OUT OF DIRECT SUNSHINE. IN ADDITION... KNOW
THE SIGNS OF HEAT ILLNESSES AND BE SURE TO CHECK ON THOSE WHO ARE
MOST SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE HEAT SUCH AS YOUNG CHILDREN AND THE
ELDERLY. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN AND PETS IN A VEHICLE... ESPECIALLY
WITH THE WINDOWS ROLLED UP SINCE TEMPERATURES CAN BE MUCH HIGHER
INSIDE THE VEHICLE.

TO REDUCE RISK DURING OUTDOOR WORK...THE OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND
HEALTH ADMINISTRATION RECOMMENDS SCHEDULING FREQUENT REST BREAKS
IN SHADED OR AIR CONDITIONED ENVIRONMENTS. ANYONE OVERCOME BY
HEAT SHOULD BE MOVED TO A COOL AND SHADED LOCATION. HEAT STROKE
