MEXICO...SOUTHWEST TEXAS AND WEST TEXAS.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED ACROSS SOUTHEAST NEW MEXICO
AND MOST OF WEST TEXAS THROUGH TONIGHT. THE BEST CHANCE FOR STORMS
WILL BE OVER THE BIG BEND REGION...EASTERN PORTIONS OF BREWSTER
COUNTY...PECOS COUNTY...THE WESTERN HALF OF TERRELL COUNTY. LOCALLY
HEAVY RAINFALL COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING OF LOW LYING
AREAS. MINOR STREET FLOODING IN MORE URBAN AREAS WILL ALSO BE A
MAIN CONCERN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP OVER THE HIGH TERRAIN AGAIN
TODAY...AND DRIFT INTO ADJACENT PLAINS AND VALLEYS. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAINFALL WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH ANY GIVEN THUNDERSTORM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE FOCUSED OVER THE HIGHER TERRAIN
THURSDAY. ANY GIVEN THUNDERSTORM COULD PRODUCE HEAVY RAINFALL WHICH
COULD LEAD LOCALIZED FLOODING. ANOTHER SURGE OF SUBTROPICAL MOISTURE
COULD OCCUR AS SOON AS THURSDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY IN CONJUNCTION
WITH AN UPPER DISTURBANCE....WHICH COULD TRIGGER MORE WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS AND STORMS WITH POTENTIAL FOR HEAVY RAINFALL. RESIDENTS AND
TRAVELERS ARE URGED TO STAY ABREAST TO THE LATEST FORECASTS.

AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY RANGE FROM ONE QUARTER TO ONE HALF INCH.
OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING AND WIND GUSTS TO NEAR 40 MPH WILL ACCOMPANY THE
THUNDERSTORMS. LOCATIONS THAT MAY BE IMPACTED INCLUDE RAMON...MESA...
ELIDA...PORTALES...CLOVIS...MELROSE...RANCHVALE...FORT SUMNER...
BROADVIEW...TUCUMCARI AND NARA VISA.
