THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL
NEW MEXICO.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP ONCE AGAIN TODAY.
STORM MOTION WILL BE SOMEWHAT SLOW AND RAINFALL COULD BECOME
LOCALLY HEAVY. THIS MAY LEAD TO LOCALIZED AREAS OF FLASH
FLOODING... ESPECIALLY OVER AND NEAR RECENT BURN SCARS. AS WINDS
ALOFT INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON...A FEW STORMS COULD PRODUCE LARGE
HAIL AND WIND GUSTS TO 50 MPH. SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL CONTINUE
THROUGH THE OVERNIGHT HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED MAINLY EAST OF THE CENTRAL
MOUNTAIN CHAIN WEDNESDAY. STORM MOTION WILL BE SLOW AND RAINFALL
COULD BECOME LOCALLY HEAVY. STORM MOTION WILL INCREASE...LIMITING
CHANCES FOR LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY AND
TONIGHT...MAINLY FROM PRESIDIO NORTHWARD TO ARTESIA DURING THE DAY
AND EVENING...SPREADING EASTWARD INTO THE PERMIAN BASIN TONIGHT.
WHILE THE THREAT OF SEVERE WEATHER IS LOW...THE PRIMARY THREAT
WITH THESE STORMS WILL BE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL...WHICH COULD
RESULT IN FLASH FLOODING IN SUSCEPTIBLE AREAS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY

THE THREAT OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE OVER THE PERMIAN BASIN
THROUGH WEDNESDAY NIGHT...THOUGH SEVERE WEATHER IS NOT CURRENTLY
ANTICIPATED. THE PROBABILITY FOR WIDESPREAD HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS
LOW THURSDAY THROUGH MONDAY.
