* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE RISING TO NEAR 9.5 FEET BY
  WEDNESDAY EVENING THEN BEGIN FALLING.
* IMPACT...AT 8.0 FEET...MAPLE STREET AND RIVER ROAD BETWEEN ORLEANS
  AND COVENTRY STATION WILL FLOOD. THERE WILL BE EXTENSIVE FIELD AND

  CREEK ROAD WILL FLOOD BETWEEN WALKER MOUNTAIN ROAD AND

  PITTSFORD...ELM STREET AND DEPOT ROAD WILL BE UNDER WATER.  FIELD

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLOOD ADVISORY FOR THE SALMON RIVER...
  IN OSWEGO COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW YORK...

* UNTIL 1015 PM EDT WEDNESDAY

* AT 900 AM EDT...THE FLOW ON THE SALMON RIVER WAS AROUND 8000
  CFS...WHICH CORRESPONDS TO AROUND 11 FEET AT THE GAUGE IN
  PINEVILLE. THIS FLOW WILL BE LOWERED TO AROUND 5000 CFS THIS
  MORNING. EVEN WITH THE LOWER LEVELS...THE SALMON RIVER WILL STILL
  BE DANGEROUS. IT WILL ALSO TAKE TIME FOR THE RIVER TO RESPOND TO
  THE DIMINISHED RELEASE FROM THE LIGHTHOUSE HILL DAM IN ALTMAR.

* ALSO KEEP IN MIND THAT ACTUAL FLOWS CAN VARY...AND CHANGE QUICKLY
  AT ANY TIME. THOSE WHO UTILIZE THE LOWER PORTION OF THE RIVER TO
  FISH OR FOR OTHER RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE
  HIGH FLOWS AND AVOID THE RIVER UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.
