* UNTIL SATURDAY MORNING.
* AT 2 PM FRIDAY THE STAGE WAS 11.5 FEET AND FALLING.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 10.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL...AND IS EXPECTED TO
  DROP BELOW FLOOD STAGE EARLY SATURDAY MORNING.
* IMPACT...AT 12.0 FEET...MODERATE FLOOD...MORE EXTENSIVE FLOODING AND
  SIGNIFICANT DAMAGES TO AGRICULTURAL, COMMERCIAL, AND INDUSTRIAL
  AREAS. MANY ROAD CLOSURES IN LEWIS COUNTY. SIGNIFICANT FLOODING IN
  CARTHAGE AREA. SOME FLOODING RIVER AND HUNTINGTON STREETS IN
  WATERTOWN ALONG WITH WATERMATOX FACTORY.

* AT 11:00 AM FRIDAY THE STAGE WAS 100.5 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 100.0 FEET.
* MINOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MINOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* FORECAST...THE LAKE WILL REMAIN NEARLY STEADY AT 100.5 FEET
  THROUGH SATURDAY MORNING. ADDITIONAL RISES MAY BE POSSIBLE
  THEREAFTER.
* IMPACT...AT 101.0 FEET...FLOODING AFFECTS LOW LYING ROADS AND
  PROPERTY, AND WIND AND WAVE ACTION ON EXPOSED SHORELINES BECOMES A
  PROBLEM.  IF LAKE ICE IS PRESENT...STRUCTURAL DAMAGE CAN OCCUR.

* AT 11 AM FRIDAY THE STAGE WAS 9.2 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 7.0 FEET.
* MAJOR FLOODING IS OCCURRING AND MAJOR FLOODING IS FORECAST.
* THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE TO FALL AND IS EXPECTED TO FALL BELOW
  ITS MODERATE FLODO STAGE OF 8.5 FEET BY EARLY SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
* IMPACT...AT 9.0 FEET...MAJOR FLOOD STAGE. THERE IS 1 TO 2 FEET OF
  WATER IN HOMES AND VACATION PROPERTIES NEAR WARRENSBURG.  SECTIONS
  OF THE HIGHWAY ARE FLOODED ALONG THE RIGHT BANK OF RIVER MOSTLY
  UPSTREAM OF GAGE.
