Driest Winter in Tulsa Oklahoma Since Record Keeping Began in 1888

The winter of 2005-2006 will go down in the record books as being the driest ever in Tulsa Oklahoma. Only 1.59 inches of precipitation fell during the meteorological winter months of December, January and Febuary. This breaks the old record by 0.17 inches. On average 5.36" of precipitation falls during the winter months in Tulsa.
