This forecast is valid for the following county: NOWATA

DISCUSSION:
A SMALL CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS WILL EXIST ACROSS SOUTHEASTOKLAHOMA AND WESTERN ARKANSAS THIS AFTERNOON DUE TO A STATIONARYFRONT STRETCHED ACROSS THE REGION. WEDNESDAY WILL BRING A BETTERCHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS TO FAR NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA AND WESTERNARKANSAS...AS THE FRONT MOVES NORTHWARD AS A WARM FRONT AND ANUPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE CROSSES THE AREA. MUCH OF EASTERN OKLAHOMAWILL SEE ABOVE NORMAL TEMPERATURES FOR THE LATTER PART OF THISWEEK...WITH NEAR TO BELOW NORMAL HIGHS IN ARKANSAS. DURING THEWEEKEND...A STRONGER COLD FRONT WILL COMBINE WITH TROPICALMOISTURE FROM THE PACIFIC TO BRING THE BEST CHANCE OF GOODRAINFALL DURING THE PERIOD. BELOW NORMAL TEMPERATURES WILL LASTFOR A FEW DAYS BEHIND THE FRONT.
