9th Driest Winter in Forth Smith Arkansas Since Record Keeping Began in 1900

The winter of 2005-2006 will go down in the record books as being the9th driest ever in Fort Smith Arkansas. Only 4.11 inches of precipitation fell during the meteorological winter months of December, January and Febuary.. On average 8.07" of precipitation falls during the winter months in Fort Smith.
