Official sunrise/sunset and moon information can be obtained by entering the event city, state, and day at the U.S. Naval Observatory website: http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneDay.html

What was this day like in previous years?
To find out what the actual temperature was or how much precipitation fell on this date in previous years, visit the daily climatology page at: www.srh.noaa.gov/tsa/f6current.html

Notes about the above data:
*Temperature (°F) normals are for the period 1971-2000. Rain/snow days occur when the liquid precipitation is >= 0.01" for that day.
*Due to the availability of data available for McAlester, fewer years are used for the rainfall information.
*For Fayetteville, a combination of two stations, Drake Field Fayetteville (ASOS) and the Fayetteville Experimental Station (COOP) were used to determine the precipitation information. The COOP station was used from 1997-2000 and the ASOS data used from 2001-2006.
*Caution should be exercised when using the rainfall data as there may be missing data within the 10 year time period.
