About Hail  Legend (Click for Impacts) None No hail. Low Hail, penny-size or smaller. Moderate Hail, nickel to golfball size (0.88 to 1.75 inches). High Very Large Hail, 2-2.75 inch diameter. Extreme Extreme hail, ≥3 inch diameter.
