Moved NE from near Hartford, passing Wicksburg, and through Headland. The worst damage occurred at Headland, where 92 buildings, including 25 homes, were damaged or destroyed, and five people were killed. One person was killed and 26 were injured at Hartford.

Moved ENE, then NE from 3m S of Dothan to beyond Webb. Between Dothan and Cowarts, the tornado leveled a rural school, killing the teacher and seven of the 40 children in the building. Further to the NE, virtually every building in Webb was damaged. One man was killed in the collapse of his store, and about 70 people were hurt at Webb. A woman was killed in her home 2m NE of Webb.

Moved NE near Cowarts. Several homes, including a large one, were destroyed along with acres of timber. All injuries were in the larger home, which had only one room intact.

Moved NE at the north edge of Cowarts. A young girl was killed in one of six homes that were destroyed. About 400 acres of timber were flattened.

Moved ESE, destroying a school and a nearby barn at Hodgesville. Five people were injured in the home. At the school, 16 students and a teacher were injured. They were leaving the building to hide in a ditch when the school was unroofed and collapsed around them.

Moved NE from NE of Campbellton to near Ashford. No damage was reported in the short path in Florida. In Alabama, six homes were destroyed and 15 more were damaged between Cottonwood and Grangeburg. A two-year-old boy was killed in a home near Ashford.

F1 tornado moved across Houston County Road 85. Two homes sustained extensive roof damage. A semitractor trailer was overturned. Numerous trees and power lines down in Ashford and Gordon.

Tornado skipped through a mobile home park along County Road 9 and Market Street. Two mobile homes destroyed with more than a dozen damaged. Large power poles and trees toppled. Winds overturned small airplane off County Road 81 near Harmon School. A large tree blown onto a house on County Road 75. Residence destroyed on Alabama Highway 84 West in Wicksburg.

The supercell thunderstorm which spawned the F2 tornado in Geneva moved northeast across extreme western Houston County and produced an F0 tornado which caused minor roof damage to five homes, blew out windows and overturned lawn furniture. The tornado tracked northeast into southeast Dale County. Reported by the Houston County EMA.

3/22/2005 1213 pm F2 3 200 0 4 $750,000 SD, SPC

A tornado touched down about a half mile west of Firetower Road. As it traveled northeast, it destroyed three barns on County Road 81, and destroyed two large homes just north of Turnpike Road. Four people were injured and transported to a hospital in Dothan. Several mobile homes were damaged, with numerous trees and power lines down. The storm survey was conducted by the NWS Tallahassee WCM and SOO.
