A "giant ice cream cone" funnel moved NNW from 2m S of Havana, Florida, passing across the west part of that town. Two children were killed in one of eight homes that were destroyed. Nine tobacco farms were destroyed. In Georgia, losses totalled $30,000 in and near the "Belcher" community.

Moved E from near Hinson to Concord, destroying a large double mobile home. A summer home was also destroyed. Damage totalled $100,000, $20,000 of which was to the Concordia Baptist Church. A woman died five days later from injuries in the mobile home.

A tornado touched down on the north side of Lake Talquin pulling several large cypress trees into the lake. The tornado travelled across a branch of the lake moving across the the Waldwood Boy Scout Reservation and tracking about three miles to Rocky Comfort Creek. Numerous trees were downed along the path.

A tornado destroyed a mobile home carrying the two residents over 125 yards. The men were found four hours later, one man (50) was dead, the other, his brother, (49) was severely injured. Items from the dwelling were found three miles away. M50MH

A tornado demolished a small block building and damaged an adjacent store. Pieces of the building's roof was in trees a large pecan tree were uprooted.

A tornado touched down in a church cemetary downing trees and knocking over 20 or so tombstones. The church was only slightly damaged. The tornado crossed the road and snapped hundreds of trees in some thick woods to the east of the cemetary.

Four F1 tornado touchdowns. Numerous 12-24" diameter trees uprooted on Gadsden County Road 159. Considerable debris on Florida Highway 27 five miles NE of Midway. Power outages in Midway.

A brief F0 tornado touchdown observed by law enforcement and a storm spotter near Interstate 10 mile marker 165. No damage reported.
