Moved NE, destroying five small homes in and near Barwick. A person was killed in two of them. Many other homes were unroofed and torn apart.

A dozen "rather frail" homes were destroyed as a small tornado moved E across the southern part of Quitman.

At Morven, a truck was picked up, carried 40 yards, and completely demolished. There was heavy damage to roofs, barns, and trees. One barn was destroyed. A car was moved 50 feet.

One repair garage was destroyed as a tornado moved across Highway 94. The tornado snapped several pine trees with one falling on a car and another on a house.

The F0 tornado moved northeast from northeast Thomas County along Highway 122, crossed the Thomas-Brooks County line near Pavo, then dissipated just northeast of Pavo in extreme northwest Brooks County. It uprooted several trees and downed some power lines. Reported by a SKYWARN storm spotter.
