Moved NE, passing 7m SE of Nashville. A mother and two children were killed in one of seven homes that were destroyed. Most of the furnishings were found over a mile away.

Moved NE through the heart of Alapaha. This tornado destroyed the school, and damaged or destroyed all 32 homes in the town. Only the churches were left standing.

A small and short-lived tornado was reported by county emergency management officials to skip along Georgia Highway 135. A path of downed trees and power lines was the only known damage.
