| Virtual Office Tour - HMTs & Interns |

A hydrometeorological technician or intern is on duty during the day and evening shifts. This staff member launches weather balloons; issues any necessary river flood watches, warnings or statements; and quality controls various hydrometeorological data. They also run our cooperative observer program. HMT Bob Duggan is pictured above working at the HMT AWIPS workstation. Bob is preparing a product containing tide information that will be broadcast on NOAA Weather Radio (NWR).
Now that we have seen where and by whom our many products are produced, let's take a look at some of the ways we get the message out to our various customers. Go on to the next tour stop.
