...July was cooler and much wetter than normal for Tallahassee...
 
The average monthly temperature for July recorded at the Tallahassee
Regional Airport was 81.0 degrees, or 1.0 degrees below normal.
The highest temperature recorded during the month was 95 degrees on
the 26th. The lowest temperature was 69 degrees on the 12th and
13th. There were no temperature records tied or broken during the month.
Rainfall at the Tallahassee Regional Airport for July measured 14.96
inches, or 7.79 inches above normal. This amount is more than twice
the normal rainfall for July and makes July 2013 the 9th wettest on
record for Tallahassee. There were 25 days with measurable rainfall
during the month which was 10 above normal. The greatest amount in a
24-hour period was 2.92 on the 2nd through the 3rd. Two new daily
rainfall records were established. On the 3rd, 2.53 inches was
