The average monthly temperature for November recorded at the
Tallahassee Regional Airport was 58.0 degrees, or 2.2 degrees below
normal. The highest temperature recorded during the month was 86
degrees on the 3rd which tied the old record for that day set in
1972. The lowest temperature was 28 degrees on both the 25th and
26th which so far are the only days with sub-freezing temperatures
this fall season. The average date for the first freeze in
Tallahassee is November 16th.
Rainfall at the Tallahassee Regional Airport for November only
measured 0.34 hundredths of an inch, or 3.16 inches below normal.
That ties the record for the 4th driest November for Tallahassee and
the driest since the Dust Bowl years during the 1930`s. The
