THE AVERAGE MONTHLY TEMPERATURE FOR JULY IN TALLAHASSEE WAS 84.5
DEGREES...2.1 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL AND WAS THE 3RD HOTTEST
JULY ON RECORD. THE HIGHEST TEMPERATURE DURING THE MONTH WAS 103
DEGREES ON THE 30TH WHICH SET A NEW RECORD FOR THAT DAY AND THE
LOWEST WAS 71 ON THE 8TH AND 9TH. ALSO, THE TEMPERATURE OF 101 DEGREES
ON THE 31ST AND 100 DEGREES ON THE 9TH BOTH TIED PREVIOUS RECORDS FOR
THOSE DAYS. THERE WERE 26 DAYS WHERE THE MAX TEMPERATURE REACHED 90
DEGREES OR HIGHER WHICH WAS 3 ABOVE NORMAL.
