POLICY REFERENCES CODED CITIES FORECAST

PURPOSE: The Coded Cities Forecast (CCF) is a multiple use product. In addition to providing an integral input for the Selected Cities Weather Summary and Forecasts (SCS) and Traveler's Forecasts, they may also serve as coordination or guidance material between the WFOs in its area and are used in the National Public Weather Verification Program.

CHANGES: The CCF might be extended out to five days by Nov 2000.
