Mina Ruth Hart




The John Campanious Holm award was presented to Mina Rught Hart of Pittsburg, Texas, in a ceremony on October 16. The award was presented to Mrs Hart by the MIC of the National Weather Service Office in Shreveport, Lee Harrison. Marion Kuykendall, DAPM/SHV, assisted with the presentation.

Mr & Mrs Hart live 5 miles south of Pittsburg and record preciptaiton values for the NWS. They have a Standard Rain Gauge as well as a Fischer & Porter Recording gauge. They have been the observers for the Pittsburg area for over 30 years.
