Remarks:
Hurricane Gustav came ashore on the 1st in south central Louisiana.
*Hurricane Ike made landfall on Galveston Island on the morning of the 13th. Records with an asterisk do not include rainfall from Ike.
NOAA AOML HRD wind analyis estimates the maximum 1-minute average winds for JSC around 76 mph with higher gusts. We were unable to retrieve
the data from Ike and the recovery week after landfall.
