Remarks:

Hurricane Ike made landfall on Galveston Island on September 13.  No data was recovered during the hours prior to landfall and during 

the week following.  Rainfall, maximum gust and other data must be used with caution.

Wind data suspect since August 2007, drooping wind vane.  Wind vane fell off last week of January 2008.  Wind vane repaired July 22.
