On November 10th, the National Weather Service office in San Angelo opened the doors to anyone who wished to visit and see first hand the inner workings of a public weather office. It was an opportunity to meet the people that provide weather services to the 24 counties we call West Central Texas.

The invitation was advertised on many of the area television and radio stations as well as some newspapers. The day was considered a complete success as an estimated 400 to 500 area residents stopped by for a visit. It was a real treat to visit with and share the modern weather office with our friends and customers. Here are a few pictures that were taken during the day.
