Briefing Text Summary

Slide 1: Rain chances look good for much of West Central Texas over the next 36 hours. As remnants of Dolly continue to slowly move inland today, bands of showers and thunderstorms will move west across West Central Texas. The best chances will be mainly along and south of a line from Ozona, to San Angelo, to Brownwood. Also, some thunderstorms may produce heavy rainfall. Thus, watch for flash flooding, especially this afternoon. For tonight and tomorrow, rain chances will decrease as remnants of Dolly dissipate over Mexico.

Slide 2: Now, let’s look at the weekend and into the middle of next week. Dry conditions will again dominate West Central Texas. Expect hot temperatures to return as afternoon highs again climb into the 95 to 100 degree range.
