SOUTHEASTERN BOSSIER PARISH IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...
SOUTHEASTERN CADDO PARISH IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...
NORTH CENTRAL DE SOTO PARISH IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...
NORTHWESTERN RED RIVER PARISH IN NORTHWEST LOUISIANA...

* UNTIL 415 PM CDT.

* AT 320 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE METEOROLOGISTS DETECTED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO 24 MILES WEST OF
RINGGOLD...OR 15 MILES SOUTHEAST OF SHREVEPORT...MOVING
SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH. NUMEROUS REPORTS OF DAMAGE AND LARGE HAIL
HAVE BEEN RECEIVED NEAR WASKOM TEXAS AND IN SOUTH SHREVEPORT.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO ELM
GROVE...MC DADE...CASPIANA...NINOCK...LAKE BISTINEAU SOUTH...LOGGY
BAYOU...GRAND BAYOU...CRICHTON...HALL SUMMIT...JAMESTOWN AND
EDGEFIELD.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

IN ADDITION TO THE TORNADO...THIS STORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING
QUARTER SIZE HAIL AND DESTRUCTIVE STRAIGHT LINE WINDS.

THE SAFEST PLACE TO BE DURING A TORNADO IS IN A BASEMENT. GET UNDER A
WORKBENCH OR OTHER PIECE OF STURDY FURNITURE. IF NO BASEMENT IS
AVAILABLE...SEEK SHELTER ON THE LOWEST FLOOR OF THE BUILDING IN AN
INTERIOR HALLWAY OR ROOM SUCH AS A CLOSET. USE BLANKETS OR PILLOWS TO
COVER YOUR BODY AND ALWAYS STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS.

IF IN MOBILE HOMES OR VEHICLES...EVACUATE THEM AND GET INSIDE A
SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER. IF NO SHELTER IS AVAILABLE...LIE FLAT IN THE
NEAREST DITCH OR OTHER LOW SPOT AND COVER YOUR HEAD WITH YOUR HANDS.
