Bullard Tornado of October 6, 2008

A EF0 tornado with winds less than 90 mph occured near the intersection of FM 344 and Hwy 69 just
to the east of the town of Bullard near the Smith and Cherokee County line. The tornado descended
just as it was crossing Hwy 69, and snapped a few trees in a section of woods near the intersection
of the two roads. The tornado then traveled northeast along FM 344 about a third of a mile from
the intersection and toppled a tree along the side of the road. The tornado then lifted near the
intersection FM 344 and Inwood Dr. The length of the path was a half mile and was 40 yards wide.
