About this page:  This page is experimental.  It is an attempt to provide a visual representation of all tornadoes that have occurred since 1950 within the County Warning Area of the National Weather Service office in Shreveport, LA.  The information plotted on this map is intended for general reference use only. Tornadoes often do not travel in straight paths as depicted on this map. Line widths are not representative of tornado withds. For some records, only start points were available. These cases are represented by single points.  Very long path lengths may not necessarily mean that a tornado was consistently producing damage along the entire path length.

This data was compiled  from Storm Data. However, the information on this page should not be considered official.  For official post-storm information, use Storm Data from the National Climatic Data Center.
