.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

SNOW WILL BEGIN TO SPREAD INTO THE REGION FROM THE SOUTHWEST LATE
TONIGHT. COULD SEE A COUPLE INCHES ACROSS PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST
MINNESOTA.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY

ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED THROUGH THE DAY TUESDAY ACROSS THE
NORTHLAND. THE HEAVIEST SNOW WILL FALL BEFORE NOON...WITH
LINGERING LIGHT SNOW INTO THE AFTERNOON IN WISCONSIN. SNOWFALL
AMOUNTS WILL RANGE FROM 2 TO 5 INCHES FROM BRAINERD TO THE TWIN
PORTS AND INTO NORTHWEST WISCONSIN. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL
DEVELOP IN THE AFTERNOON AND PERSIST THROUGH TUESDAY
EVENING...REDUCING VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW. A WINTER WEATHER
ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT THROUGH MIDNIGHT TUESDAY.

VERY COLD TEMPERATURES WILL RETURN TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH THURSDAY.
WIND CHILL ADVISORIES MAY BE NEEDED DURING THIS TIME.

.AN EARLY MARCH WINTER STORM WILL MOVE ACROSS THE REGION TUESDAY
AND BRING ACCUMULATING SNOW TO MUCH OF THE NORTHLAND. AREAS FROM
THE BRAINERD LAKES TO THE TWIN PORTS AND INTO NORTHWEST WISCONSIN
WILL SEE AROUND 2 TO 5 INCHES...WITH LESSER AMOUNTS TO THE NORTH
AND WEST. GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS WILL DEVELOP ON THE BACK SIDE OF
THE SYSTEM AND PRODUCE REDUCED VISIBILITIES IN BLOWING SNOW

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
FROM 3 AM TUESDAY TO MIDNIGHT CST TUESDAY NIGHT.

* LOCATIONS...PORTIONS OF NORTHEAST MINNESOTA AND ALL OF NORTHWEST
  WISCONSIN INCLUDING THE TWIN PORTS...ASHLAND AND THE SAINT CROIX
  RIVER VALLEY.

* TIMING...SNOW WILL DEVELOP LATE TONIGHT AND CONTINUE THROUGH
  TUESDAY AFTERNOON. BLOWING SNOW WILL BEGIN IN THE LATE AFTERNOON
  AND CONTINUE THROUGH TUESDAY EVENING.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...2 TO 5 INCHES.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 30 MPH...TUESDAY
  AFTERNOON THROUGH THE EVENING.

* VISIBILITIES...SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES TO
  A QUARTER MILE OR LESS AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL CONDITIONS WILL BECOME HAZARDOUS EARLY TUESDAY
  MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT.
