ARCTIC AIR OVER THE REGION COMBINED WITH LIGHT WEST WINDS WILL
RESULT IN DANGEROUS WIND CHILL VALUES THROUGH THIS MORNING ACROSS
THE NORTHLAND. WIND CHILL VALUES OF 25 TO 40 BELOW ZERO CAN RESULT
IN FROSTBITE DEVELOPING ON EXPOSED SKIN IN AS LITTLE AS 15 TO 30
MINUTES. SEE THE LATEST WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE FOR THE DETAILS ON
THE WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS MORNING.

LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS ALONG THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR
INCLUDING THE BAYFIELD PENINSULA AND THE GOGEBIC RANGE IN
NORTHERN ASHLAND AND IRON COUNTIES WILL GRADUALLY DIMINISH INTO
THE AFTERNOON...WITH LESS THAN AN INCH OF SNOW EXPECTED TODAY.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY

LATE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY NIGHT A WARM FRONT AND LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM APPROACHING FROM THE WEST WILL RESULT IN LIGHT
SNOWFALL ACROSS THE REGION. 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED
ACROSS THE NORTHLAND...WITH 2 TO 4 INCHES POSSIBLE AROUND THE
BRAINERD LAKES REGION.
