CLUSTER OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL. RAINFALL
RATES UP TO THREE-QUARTERS OF AN INCH PER HOUR HAVE BEEN OBSERVED
WITH THESE STORMS. IN ADDITION...PEA SIZE HAIL AND DANGEROUS
CLOUD-TO-GROUND LIGHTNING HAS BEEN REPORTED WITH THESE STORMS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. NEVER DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO
AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. FLOOD WATERS ARE USUALLY
DEEPER THAN THEY APPEAR. JUST ONE FOOT OF FLOWING WATER IS POWERFUL
ENOUGH TO SWEEP VEHICLES OFF THE ROAD. WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED
ROADS MAKE THE SMART CHOICE...TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN.

...WINTRY WEATHER THROUGH TONIGHT WITH LOW SNOW LEVELS IMPACTING
MOUNTAIN PASSES...

.A COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL CONTINUE TO BRING WINTRY WEATHER
TO THE MOUNTAINS THROUGH MONDAY MORNING. SHOWER ACTIVITY WILL
PERSIST INTO THE MORNING HOURS MONDAY BEFORE DECREASING. THERE IS
A SLIGHT CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...SOME OF
WHICH MAY PRODUCE SMALL HAIL.

SNOW LEVELS WILL REMAIN AT 3500 TO 4000 FEET THROUGH TONIGHT.
SNOW LEVELS COULD OCCASIONALLY DROP TO BELOW 3500 FEET.

SNOW TOTALS WILL BE QUITE VARIABLE DUE TO THE SHOWERY NATURE OF
THE PRECIPITATION. ON AVERAGE...4 TO 8 INCHES OF SNOW BETWEEN
5000 AND 6500 FEET...WITH 8 TO 12 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE 6500
FEET...AND 2 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW BETWEEN 4000 AND 5000 FEET. LOCAL
