THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF NORTH AND CENTRAL GEORGIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT...

ABUNDANT MOISTURE AHEAD OF A COLD FRONT WILL ALLOW FOR THE
DEVELOPMENT OF SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE AREA
TODAY. AS THE FRONT APPROACHES THE TENNESSEE VALLEY LATER TODAY
INTO THIS EVENING...THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY WILL INCREASE ACROSS
EXTREME NORTH GEORGIA WITH NUMEROUS STORMS DEVELOPING. ALTHOUGH
LIGHTNING WILL CONTINUE TO BE THE PRIMARY HAZARD...AN ISOLATED
STORM WITH STRONG WINDS CANNOT BE RULED OUT.

PRIMARY WEATHER HAZARDS EXPECTED...
OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...TUESDAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

THE FRONT WILL SAG SOUTH AND LOSE SOME OF ITS AVAILABLE
MOISTURE...BUT STILL A GOOD CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND STORMS THROUGH
THE ATLANTA METRO LATE THIS EVENING INTO THE FIRST PART OF TONIGHT.
RESIDUAL SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS PORTIONS OF
CENTRAL GEORGIA ON TUESDAY AFTERNOON.

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE NEEDED THROUGH TONIGHT.
