THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF EAST CENTRAL
WYOMING...SOUTH CENTRAL WYOMING AND SOUTHEAST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A FRONT WILL STALL NEAR THE LARAMIE RANGE TODAY. SNOW BANDS WILL
CONTINUE TO DEVELOP AND SPREAD SOUTHEAST ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS AND
PLAINS THROUGH EARLY AFTERNOON. THE SNOWY AND SIERRA MADRE RANGES
CAN EXPECT ANOTHER 3 TO 6 INCHES OF SNOW TODAY...WITH 1 TO 2 INCHES
OVER THE LARAMIE RANGE AND EASTERN PLAINS. STRONG AND GUSTY WEST
WINDS WILL CREATE BLOWING SNOW AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL. HIGH WIND
WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT FOR THE ARLINGTON...BORDEAUX AND SUMMIT
AREAS TODAY AND TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

IT WILL CONTINUE TO BE WINDY THURSDAY THROUGH SATURDAY...ESPECIALLY
WIND PRONE AREAS WHERE GUSTS OF 50 TO 60 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION WILL NOT BE REQUIRED TODAY AND TONIGHT...HOWEVER
SNOW AND HIGH WIND REPORTS WILL BE APPRECIATED.

...SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS PORTIONS OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING THROUGH
THIS MORNING...

.MAINLY LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THIS MORNING OVER THE
INTERSTATE 80 SUMMIT AND FROM CONVERSE TO LARAMIE COUNTY. THIS
INCLUDES INTERSTATE 25 FROM DOUGLAS TO THE COLORADO STATE
LINE...AND INTERSTATE 80 FROM THE SUMMIT TO PINE BLUFFS. MODERATE
SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE SIERRA MADRE AND SNOWY RANGES. AREAS
OF BLOWING SNOW MAY ALSO DEVELOP IN THE SOUTHERN LARAMIE RANGE BY
LATE THIS MORNING AS WESTERLY WINDS INCREASE.

AFTERNOON...

* TIMING...LIGHT SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE MORNING. WINDS
  WILL INCREASE BY LATE MORNING...ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE SOUTHERN
  LARAMIE RANGE AND ADJACENT FOOTHILLS. BLOWING AND DRIFTING OF
  THE FRESH SNOW WILL BE POSSIBLE FROM LATE MORNING THROUGH EARLY
  AFTERNOON...MAINLY OVER THE SOUTHERN LARAMIE RANGE AND ADJACENT
  FOOTHILLS.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES THROUGH
  THE MORNING.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...WEST WINDS WILL INCREASE BY THE LATE MORNING.
  WEST WINDS OF 30 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 50 MPH DURING THE EARLY
  AFTERNOON ACROSS THE SOUTHERN LARAMIE RANGE COULD REDUCE
  VISIBILITIES TO ONE HALF MILE OR LESS DUE TO SNOW AND BLOWING
  SNOW.

* IMPACTS...TRAVEL WILL BE HAZARDOUS DUE TO SLICK AND SNOWPACKED
  ROADS AND REDUCED VISIBILITIES. THIS INCLUDES INTERSTATE 25 FROM
  DOUGLAS TO THE COLORADO STATE LINE...INTERSTATE 80 FROM THE
  SUMMIT TO PINE BLUFFS...AND HIGHWAYS 85 AND 30.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW MEANS THAT
VISIBILITIES WILL BE LIMITED DUE TO A COMBINATION OF FALLING AND
BLOWING SNOW. USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING...ESPECIALLY IN OPEN
AREAS AND WHEN APPROACHING AND DRIVING OVER RAILROAD CROSSINGS.
