...STORM SYSTEM TO AFFECT THE CENTRAL ROCKIES AND PLAINS THROUGH
SATURDAY...

.ANOTHER PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL SLOWLY MOVE NORTHEAST FROM THE
CENTRAL ROCKIES INTO THE CENTRAL PLAINS TONIGHT THROUGH SATURDAY.
SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHEAST WYOMING AND WESTERN
NEBRASKA PANHANDLE THROUGH THIS TIME. WHILE SNOW IS EXPECTED
ACROSS THE REGION...WARM GROUND TEMPERATURES WILL LIMIT HIGH SNOW
ACCUMULATIONS. MINIMAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS INTO THE LOWER
ELEVATIONS SUCH AS THROUGH MUCH OF THE LOWER NORTH PLATTE RIVER
VALLEY.

SATURDAY...

* TIMING...PERIODS OF SNOW CONTINUING THROUGH THROUGH SATURDAY
  AFTERNOON.

* TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...SNOW ACCUMULATIONS WILL VARY GREATLY
  DEPENDING ON ELEVATION. UPWARDS OF 6 INCHES IS POSSIBLE ALONG
  HIGHER ELEVATIONS SUCH AS RIDGE TOPS. 3 INCHES OR LESS OF SNOW
  FOR LOWER ELEVATIONS SUCH AS THROUGH MUCH OF THE NORTH PLATTE
  RIVER VALLEY.

* WINDS/VISIBILITY...NORTH TO NORTHEAST WIND AT 5 TO 10 MPH
  TONIGHT...THEN INCREASING TO 15 TO 25 MPH ON SATURDAY.
  VISIBILITIES DOWN TO ONE HALF MILE AT TIMES.

* IMPACTS...MAINLY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES DUE TO LOW VISIBILITIES
  AND AREAS OF SLICK AND SNOWPACKED ROADS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW MEANS THAT PERIODS OF SNOW
WILL CAUSE PRIMARILY TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR SNOW
COVERED ROADS AND LIMITED VISIBILITIES...AND USE CAUTION WHILE
DRIVING.

SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL OVER THE AREA TODAY AND TONIGHT. THE SNOW
MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES WITH SIGNIFICANT ACCUMULATIONS IN SOME
AREAS. VARIOUS WINTER ADVISORIES AND WARNINGS ARE IN EFFECT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO FALL SATURDAY BUT DECREASE DURING THE DAY.
