...HIGH WIND WARNINGS FOR SOUTHERN WYOMING UNTIL 2 AM MONDAY...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN AND CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

STRONG WINDS WILL CONTINUE ACROSS SOUTHERN WYOMING THROUGH SUNDAY
EVENING.  PLEASE SEE HIGH WIND WARNING PRODUCT FOR THE LATEST
INFORMATION.  NORTHWEST WINDS AT 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OVER 50 MPH
WILL BE ENCOUNTERED TONIGHT ACROSS NORTHEAST JOHNSON COUNTY INCLUDING
INTERSTATE 90.

AREAS SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW WILL BE ENCOUNTERED OVER MOUNTAIN PASSES
THROUGH MONDAY MORNING THOUGH ADDITIONAL SNOW AMOUNTS ARE EXPECTED
TO REMAIN LIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY

WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH CHRISTMAS DAY...A NEW STORM SYSTEM WILL
IMPACT THE REGION. THE POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL IS
STILL A POSSIBILITY ACROSS CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING ON CHRISTMAS
DAY. THE EXACT TRACK OF THE STORM IS STILL UNCERTAIN. STAY TUNED
FOR UPDATES ON THIS STORM AND HOW IT MAY IMPACT HOLIDAY TRAVEL.

...STRONG WINDS TO BLOW TODAY NEAR CASPER...

HIGH WINDS WILL OCCUR TODAY ACROSS ISOLATED AREAS NEAR CASPER...
INCLUDING HIGHWAY 258 AND OUTER DRIVE. WINDS OF 35 TO 45 MPH WITH
GUSTS UP TO 60 MPH ARE EXPECTED. THIS WILL CREATE HAZARDOUS TRAVEL
CONDITIONS...ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH PROFILE AND LIGHT WEIGHT VEHICLES.

THE WYOMING DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION ADVISES NO LIGHT TRAILER
TRAFFIC DUE TO WIND SPEEDS ABOVE 50 MPH.  THESE WINDS MAY CAUSE LOSS
OF VEHICLE CONTROL OR A BLOW OVER TO HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES TRAVELING
EMPTY OR WITH A LIGHT LOAD.  DRIVERS OF SUCH VEHICLES ARE ADVISED TO
DELAY TRAVEL.
