MORNING...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN AND CENTRAL WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT

AREAS OF DENSE FOG WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE WIND RIVER BASIN.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

SUNDAY THROUGH MONDAY...SIGNIFICANT SNOWFALL AND WIND EXPECTED IN THE
WESTERN MOUNTAINS AND POSSIBLY THE LOWER ELEVATIONS...ESPECIALLY FROM
THE JACKSON VALLEY NORTHWARD. SNOWFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 FEET ARE
POSSIBLE IN THE WESTERN MOUNTAINS WITH SOME OF THE LOWER ELEVATIONS
FROM THE JACKSON VALLEY INTO YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK POTENTIALLY
RECEIVING 6 TO 12 INCHES.

STRONG WINDS ARE ALSO EXPECTED ACROSS THE RED DESERT...INTERSTATE 80
CORRIDOR...SOUTH PASS AND JEFFREY CITY AREA TO CASPER SUNDAY
AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY AND ALSO THE ABSAROKA MOUNTAINS AND ADJACENT
CODY FOOTHILLS WITH STRONG GUSTS.

WEDNESDAY...A NEW STORM SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP TO OUR WEST SPREADING
SNOW FROM SOUTHWEST TO NORTHEAST ON CHRISTMAS EVE. STAY TUNED OVER
THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS ON THIS POTENTIAL TRAVEL IMPACTING STORM ON
CHRISTMAS EVE THROUGH CHRISTMAS DAY FOR CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST
WYOMING.
