THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK...

STRONG MOIST WESTERLY FLOW MAY BRING RISING SNOW LEVELS AND
PERIODS OF HEAVY RAIN LATE THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK.
MODELS SHOW HEAVY RAIN FOCUSED OVER THE NORTH AND CENTRAL CASCADES
STARTING SUNDAY NIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY NIGHT AND
POSSIBLY INTO TUESDAY. THE RIVERS FLOWING OFF THE WEST SLOPES OF
THE CASCADES IN WHATCOM...SKAGIT...SNOHOMISH AND KING COUNTIES
WILL SEE RISES WITH A FEW RIVERS CLOSE TO FLOOD STAGE. IF THIS
SYSTEM STALLS OR IF PRECIPITATION AMOUNTS INCREASE THEN RIVER
FLOODING MAY OCCUR OVER THIS PERIOD.
