...HOT WEATHER WILL DEVELOP ON THURSDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH AT
LEAST THE UPCOMING WEEKEND...

A STRONG RIDGE OF HIGH PRESSURE IN THE UPPER ATMOSPHERE AND
WARMING ALOFT WILL COMBINE TO BRING ANOTHER PERIOD OF VERY WARM TO
HOT WEATHER TO THE AREA THURSDAY THROUGH AT LEAST THE UPCOMING
WEEKEND. THE HOT WEATHER MAY PERSIST INTO THE FIRST HALF OF NEXT
WEEK.

AT THIS TIME IT APPEARS THAT THE WARMEST TEMPERATURES WILL OCCUR
ON THURSDAY AND FRIDAY IN THE INTERIOR FROM SEATTLE SOUTHWARD INTO
THE VALLEYS OF THE SOUTHWEST INTERIOR. IN THESE
AREAS...HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL REACH THE UPPER 80S TO MID 90S
AFTER MORNING LOWS ONLY AROUND 60 DEGREES. AREAS NEAR THE WATER
NORTH OF SEATTLE TO THE CANADIAN BORDER WILL BE WARM...BUT HIGHS
WILL ONLY REACH INTO THE 80S. TEMPERATURES MAY COOL A COUPLE OF
DEGREES OVER THE WEEKEND...BUT ANY ONSHORE FLOW THAT OCCURS WILL
TEND TO RAISE HUMIDITY VALUES MAKING IT FEEL MORE UNCOMFORTABLE.
