...HEAVY MOUNTAIN SNOW THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY...

.A STRONG AND MOIST PACIFIC STORM SYSTEM WILL PASS THROUGH THE
REGION FROM THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH SATURDAY. SNOW WILL GENERALLY
BE A MOUNTAIN OCCURRENCE EXCEPT FOR LOCATIONS WEST OF A LINE FROM
REPUBLIC TO WENATCHEE. COLD AIR WILL REMAIN TRAPPED IN THESE
AREAS LEADING TO PRIMARILY A SNOW AND FREEZING RAIN EVENT. A COLD
FRONT WILL PASS OVER THE CASCADES TONIGHT...WITH THE PRECIPITATION
TURNING MORE SHOWERY ON SATURDAY. MOST OF THE SNOW BEHIND THE
FRONT WILL BE CONFINED TO THE CASCADE CREST AND THE IDAHO
PANHANDLE.

...FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PST THIS EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPOKANE HAS ISSUED A FREEZING
RAIN ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PST THIS EVENING.

* LOCATIONS...MOSES LAKE...EPHRATA...OTHELLO...QUINCY.

* ICE ACCUMULATIONS...UP TO A TENTH OF AN INCH.

* TIMING...FREEZING RAIN IS CURRENTLY FALLING AND WILL CONTINUE
  THROUGH THIS EVENING. FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO END NEAR 800
  PM.

* IMPACTS...ICY CONDITIONS ARE BEING REPORTED IN EHPRATA AND ARE
  LIKELY OCCURING ACROSS SOUTHERN GRANT COUNTY. ROADS AND WALKWAYS
  MAY BECOME TREACHEROUS. TEMPERATURES WILL FALL SLIGHTLY
  OVERNIGHT KEEPING THE THREAT FOR ICY CONDITIONS THROUGH SATURDAY
  MORNING.

* TEMPERATURES...CURRENTLY RANGE BETWEEN 30 AND 33F. TEMPERATURES
  WILL REMAIN STEADY THEN FALL OVERNIGHT.

A FREEZING RAIN ADVISORY MEANS THAT PERIODS OF FREEZING RAIN OR
FREEZING DRIZZLE WILL CAUSE TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES. BE PREPARED FOR
SLIPPERY ROADS. SLOW DOWN AND USE CAUTION WHILE DRIVING.
