...VERY WINDY CONDITIONS OVER PORTIONS OF THE INTERIOR NORTHWEST
TODAY THROUGH SUNDAY...

.A STRONG LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL MOVE INTO WESTERN WASHINGTON
TODAY AND THEN SWING NORTHEAST INTO BRITISH COLUMBIA TONIGHT.
THIS SYSTEM WILL CAUSE VERY WINDY CONDITIONS OVER PORTIONS OF THE
INTERIOR NORTHWEST. THESE CONDITIONS WILL OCCUR IN CENTRAL
OREGON...THE GRANDE RONDE VALLEY AND THE WALLOWA VALLEY AHEAD OF
THE ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT TODAY...AND THEN ACROSS THE COLUMBIA
BASIN AND THE BLUE MOUNTAIN FOOTHILLS AFTER FRONTAL PASSAGE
TONIGHT AND SUNDAY.

A WIND ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 5 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO
3 PM PDT SUNDAY.

* TIMING: WINDS WILL INCREASE RAPIDLY WITH FRONTAL PASSAGE THIS
  EVENING...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE BLUE MOUNTAIN FOOTHILLS. MORE
  PERSISTENT STRONG WINDS WILL OCCUR FROM LATE TONIGHT THROUGH
  AT LEAST SUNDAY MORNING.

* WINDS: SOUTHWEST TO WEST 25 TO 35 MPH WITH GUSTS OF 45 TO 50
  MPH.

* IMPACTS: DRIVING WILL BECOME DIFFICULT ESPECIALLY FOR HIGH
  PROFILE VEHICLES ON AREA ROADWAYS. IN ADDITION THESE WINDS
  MAY CAUSE LOOSE OBJECTS TO BE PICKED UP AND BLOWN SOME
  DISTANCE. MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE MAY ALSO BE POSSIBLE.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A WIND ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN SUSTAINED WINDS ARE FORECAST
BETWEEN 30 AND 39 MPH OR GUSTS RANGING FROM 45 TO 57 MPH. WINDS
OF THESE MAGNITUDES CAN MAKE DRIVING DIFFICULT...ESPECIALLY FOR
HIGH PROFILE VEHICLES. MINOR PROPERTY DAMAGE MAY ALSO OCCUR. FOR
