THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PENDLETON HAS ISSUED A DENSE FOG
ADVISORY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM PST THURSDAY.

* VISIBILITY: REDUCED TO LESS THAN A QUARTER OF A MILE AT TIMES
  IN DENSE FOG.

* IMPACTS: AREAS OF FOG WILL REDUCE VISIBILITIES IN THE LOWER
  COLUMBIA BASIN OF WASHINGTON...WHICH WILL AFFECT TRAVEL ALONG
  INTERSTATES 82...90 AND 182 AS WELL AS U.S. HIGHWAYS 12 AND 395.
  TRAVELERS ARE ADVISED TO EXERCISE CAUTION AND DRIVE WITH EXTREME
  CARE WHEN ENCOUNTERING FOG.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A DENSE FOG ADVISORY MEANS VISIBILITIES WILL FREQUENTLY BE
REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE QUARTER MILE. IF DRIVING...SLOW DOWN...

...ANOTHER SURGE OF COLD AIR FOR THE WEEKEND...

ANOTHER ARCTIC COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION
BY THIS COMING HOLIDAY WEEKEND. THE COLD FRONT IS EXPECTED TO
DROP SOUTHWARD OUT OF CANADA FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY. HIGH
TEMPERATURES ON SATURDAY WILL ONLY BE IN THE 30S...COOLING TO THE
20S AND LOW 30S ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY. OVERNIGHT LOWS WILL BE
MOSTLY IN THE TEENS...LOCALLY IN THE SINGLE DIGITS IN THE
MOUNTAINS OVER THE WEEKEND. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY OF SOME LIGHT
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS FRIDAY NIGHT AND SATURDAY AS SNOW LEVELS DROP.
THOSE TRAVELING THIS WEEKEND ARE URGED TO KEEP AWARE OF THE LATEST
FORECASTS AS THIS EVENT UNFOLDS.
