THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE LOWER EASTERN SHORE OF
MARYLAND...COASTAL NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...THE NORTHERN OUTER
BANKS OF NORTH CAROLINA...SOUTH HAMPTON ROADS VIRGINIA AND THE
EASTERN SHORE OF VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

LOW PRESSURE WILL TRACK NORTHEAST OFF THE MID ATLANTIC COAST TODAY
AND TONIGHT. A NORTH WIND OF 20 TO 25 MPH...WITH GUSTS TO 35 TO 40
MPH IS EXPECTED...AND WILL BE STRONGEST ALONG THE IMMEDIATE ATLANTIC
COAST. MODERATE TO HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE...ESPECIALLY DURING THE
MORNING HOURS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

* LOCATION...ATLANTIC PORTIONS OF THE LOWER MARYLAND AND VIRGINIA
  EASTERN SHORE.

* TIMING/IMPACTS...WATER LEVELS WILL APPROACH MINOR FLOODING
  THRESHOLDS WITHIN A FEW HOURS EITHER SIDE OF HIGH TIDE LATE
  WEDNESDAY MORNING.

* TIDES...TIDAL DEPARTURES WILL RISE TO AROUND 1.5 FEET ABOVE
  NORMAL DURING THE HIGH TIDE CYCLE LATE WEDNESDAY MORNING AND
  EARLY AFTERNOON. DUE TO SOME UNCERTAINTY...MINOR FLOODING WILL
  BE POSSIBLE AND THIS STATEMENT MAY BE UPGRADED TO A COASTAL
  FLOOD ADVISORY IF PREDICTED WATER LEVELS RISE A FEW TENTHS OF A
  FOOT FROM CURRENT FORECAST VALUES.
