WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM SUNDAY TO 10 AM EST MONDAY. A COASTAL FLOOD
ADVISORY HAS ALSO BEEN ISSUED. THIS COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FROM
1 PM SUNDAY TO 10 AM EST MONDAY.

* LOCATION: SANDBRIDGE BEACH SOUTH INTO OUTER BANKS CURRITUCK.

* TIMING: MINOR TO POSSIBLY MODERATE FLOODING EXPECTED WITHIN A
  FEW HOURS EITHER SIDE OF THE HIGH TIDE CYCLE SUNDAY EVENING AND MONDAY
  MORNING.

* WAVES: NEARSHORE SURF OF 8 TO 10 FEET WILL LEAD TO BEACH EROSION.

* IMPACTS: INUNDATION OF WATER IN AND NEAR LOW-LYING COASTAL AREAS COULD LEAD
  TO ROAD CLOSURES AND FLOODING OF PROPERTY.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY MEANS THAT HIGH SURF WILL AFFECT BEACHES IN THE ADVISORY
AREA. LIFE THREATENING RIP CURRENTS AND LOCALIZED BEACH EROSION WILL ALSO BE
POSSIBLE.

A COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY INDICATES THAT ONSHORE WINDS...WAVE ACTION AND / OR
TIDES WILL COMBINE TO CREATE FLOODING OF LOW AREAS ALONG THE SHORE...AND NEAR
TIDAL RIVERS AND CREEKS. BE PREPARED FOR THE POSSIBILITY OF ROAD CLOSURES AND
MINOR FLOODING OF PROPERTIES. IF TRAVEL IS NECESSARY...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE

LOW PRESSURE WILL RAPIDLY INTENSIFY WHILE TRACKING NORTHEAST OFF
THE COASTAL CAROLINAS SUNDAY AFTERNOON INTO MONDAY. WIND GUSTS UP TO
40 TO 45 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE SUNDAY AFTERNOON AND SUNDAY NIGHT
ALONG THE IMMEDIATE COAST FROM NORFOLK TO VIRGINIA BEACH TO INLAND
CURRITUCK COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA.
