THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR COASTAL NORTHEAST NORTH
CAROLINA...INTERIOR NORTHEAST NORTH CAROLINA...THE NORTHERN OUTER
BANKS OF NORTH CAROLINA...SOUTH HAMPTON ROADS VIRGINIA AND THE
PENINSULA OF SOUTHEAST VIRGINIA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

A COLD FRONT WILL CROSS THE REGION TODAY...BRINGING WIDESPREAD
SHOWERS ALONG WITH THE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS. ANY THUNDERSTORMS
HAVE THE POTENTIAL OF BECOMING SEVERE...WITH DAMAGING WIND GUSTS
AND ISOLATED TORNADOES AS THE PRIMARY THREATS. PERIODS OF HEAVY
RAINFALL ARE ALSO EXPECTED. A SOUTH WIND OF 15 TO 25 MPH WITH
GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH WILL PRECEDE THE FRONT. THE WIND WILL SHIFT TO
THE NORTHWEST BEHIND THE FRONT...INCREASING TO 20 TO 30 MPH WITH
GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH TONIGHT...ESPECIALLY ALONG THE COAST.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
