THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE WESTERN TWO THIRDS OF
UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT

CLOUDS WILL INCREASE THIS EVENING AHEAD OF AN APPROACHING WINTER
STORM.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A POTENT EARLY SEASON WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL UTAH BEGINNING SATURDAY...AND CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY.
SIGNIFICANT MOUNTAIN SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHERN UTAH
DURING THIS TIMEFRAME. ACCUMULATING VALLEY SNOWFALL LOOKS
POSSIBLE AT TIMES ACROSS NORTHERN UTAH SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE BENCHES OF THE WASATCH FRONT...
AND POSSIBLY SOUTHEAST OF THE GREAT SALT LAKE AS WELL. SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY FURTHER
SOUTH ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST UTAH...AS WELL
AS THE ADJACENT I-15 CORRIDOR...PRIMARILY NORTH OF CEDAR CITY.
GUSTY WINDS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE BOTH AHEAD OF AND BEHIND THE FRONT
OVER NORTHERN UTAH...WHICH MAY CAUSE AREAS OF BLOWING AND DRIFTING
SNOW.

THOSE WITH TRAVEL OR OUTDOOR PLANS THIS WEEKEND SHOULD BE
PREPARED FOR POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER AND PLAN
ACCORDINGLY. THE NEW SNOW WILL ALSO INCREASE THE AVALANCHE DANGER
OVER THE MOUNTAINS OF NORTHERN AND CENTRAL UTAH.
