THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE WESTERN TWO THIRDS OF
UTAH AND SOUTHWEST WYOMING.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

A WEAK WEATHER SYSTEM WILL BRUSH BY SOUTHERN UTAH TODAY BRINGING
A SMALL CHANCE FOR MOUNTAIN SNOW SHOWERS. ANY HIGHER TERRAIN SNOW
ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED TO REMAIN MINIMAL.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY

A POTENT EARLY SEASON WINTER STORM WILL AFFECT NORTHERN AND
CENTRAL UTAH BEGINNING SATURDAY...AND CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY.
SIGNIFICANT MOUNTAIN SNOWFALL IS EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHERN UTAH
DURING THIS TIMEFRAME. ACCUMULATING VALLEY SNOWFALL LOOKS POSSIBLE
AT TIMES ACROSS NORTHERN UTAH SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH
MONDAY...PARTICULARLY ALONG THE BENCHES OF THE WASATCH FRONT...AND
POSSIBLY SOUTHEAST OF THE GREAT SALT LAKE AS WELL. SNOWFALL
ACCUMULATIONS ARE ALSO POSSIBLE SATURDAY NIGHT INTO SUNDAY FURTHER
SOUTH ACROSS THE MOUNTAINS OF CENTRAL AND SOUTHWEST UTAH...AS WELL
AS THE ADJACENT I-15 CORRIDOR.

THOSE WITH TRAVEL OR OUTDOOR PLANS THIS WEEKEND SHOULD BE
PREPARED FOR POTENTIALLY HAZARDOUS WINTER WEATHER AND PLAN
ACCORDINGLY.
