A river flood warning remains in effect for the Trinity River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons are urged to stay away from the river until water levels recede.

Motorists should avoid any water covered roads and find an alternate route.

Livestock and equipment should remain out of the flood plain for the next few
days.

Stay tuned to NOAA Weather radio or other news sources for further updates.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Trinity River In Liberty...
* until the warning is canceled.
* At 0815 AM Wednesday...the stage was 29.0 feet.
* Major flooding is occurring and Major flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet. Major flood stage is 29.0 feet.
* Forecast...Little change in the river level is expected the next several days.
  Based on Lake Livingston release and local runoff.
* At 29.0 feet...Major lowland flooding begins as homes in several subdivisions
  above Liberty begin flooding. Extensive flooding over much of Liberty County
  can be expected with each incremental rise in the river.

  The Trinity River Near Moss Bluff...
* until the warning is canceled.
* At 0830 AM Wednesday...the stage was 14.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 12.2 feet. Moderate flood stage is 15.2 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 15.1 feet Saturday
  morning through the weekend. Based on Lake Livingston release and local runoff.
* At 15.2 feet...Moderate lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage.
