.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TODAY. ISOLATED
POCKETS OF 2-3 INCHES OF RAIN MAY CAUSE VERY LOCALIZED FLOODING.
WIND GUSTS UP TO 40 MPH ARE ALSO POSSIBLE WITH STRONGER STORMS.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ELEVATED HEAT INDICES ARE EXPECTED OVER THE WEEKEND AND EARLY
NEXT WEEK EAST OF I-35. AFTERNOON HEAT INDEX VALUES COULD REACH
105-108 DEGREES THESE DAYS.

REGION. LIGHT TO MODERATE RAINFALL OF LESS THAN 1/4 OF AN INCH IS
EXPECTED ON AVERAGE WITH THESE SHOWERS.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL ALSO MOVE NORTH THROUGH PORTIONS OF THE AUSTIN
METRO REGION THROUGH THE RUSH HOUR. BRIEF HEAVY RAINFALL OF 1/2 TO
1 INCH WITH ISOLATED POCKETS UP TO 2 INCHES WILL OCCUR WITH THESE
STORMS. OCCASIONAL CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING WILL ALSO OCCUR.
