AFTERNOON ACROSS THE EASTERN TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES.
MOVEMENT WILL BE NORTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

AS THE ATMOSPHERE BECOMES MORE UNSTABLE LATE THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY
THIS EVENING...SOME THUNDERSTORMS WILL LIKELY BECOME STRONG OR
SEVERE.

PEOPLE ACROSS THE EASTERN HALF OF THE PANHANDLES SHOULD KEEP AN EYE
TO THE SKY AND BE READY FOR RAPIDLY CHANGING WEATHER. STAY INFORMED

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MAINLY THE
EASTERN HALF OF THE PANHANDLES THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. DAMAGING
WINDS TO 70 MPH AND HAIL UP TO BASEBALL SIZE WILL BE THE MAIN
THREATS.

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TODAY ACROSS WESTERN
PARTS OF THE PANHANDLES. A RED FLAG WARNING FOR STRONG WINDS AND LOW
HUMIDITY WILL BE IN EFFECT THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING FOR LOCATIONS
WEST OF LINE FROM GUYMON TO AMARILLO.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY.

ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE FRIDAY ACROSS
MAINLY WESTERN AND SOUTHERN SECTIONS OF THE COMBINED PANHANDLES.
CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE AREA WIDE SATURDAY
AND SUNDAY.

SPOTTERS AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS EAST OF A GUYMON TO
AMARILLO LINE SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE FORECAST THIS AFTERNOON
AND EVENING...AND BE READY FOR SEVERE WEATHER OPERATIONS.
