THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA
PANHANDLES.

.DAY ONE...THROUGH TONIGHT.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO IMPACT PARTS OF
THE TEXAS AND OKLAHOMA PANHANDLES THROUGH TONIGHT. THE MOST LIKELY
AREAS TO EXPERIENCE THUNDERSTORM ACTIVITY INCLUDE THE SOUTHWESTERN...
CENTRAL...AND NORTHEAST TEXAS PANHANDLE. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE NOT
EXPECTED TO BE SEVERE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS MUCH OF THE OKLAHOMA AND TEXAS
PANHANDLES ON SUNDAY AND SUNDAY NIGHT. THE PROBABILITY OF WIDESPREAD OR
ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER IS LOW.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE ACROSS EASTERN PARTS OF THE PANHANDLES
WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT. SOME OF THESE THUNDERSTORMS COULD
BECOME STRONG TO SEVERE.

CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON WEDNESDAY ACROSS
THE WESTERN HALF OF THE PANHANDLES...AND ON THURSDAY ACROSS THE FAR
SOUTHWEST PART OF THE TEXAS PANHANDLE.  ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER
CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY ACROSS THE WESTERN
HALF OF THE PANHANDLES.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION IS NOT ANTICIPATED AT THIS TIME. SPOTTERS AND
EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS SHOULD CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE
FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY AND WEDNESDAY NIGHT...AS THE POTENTIAL FOR
ORGANIZED SEVERE WEATHER MAY INCREASE.

AREA FIRE MANAGERS AND EMERGENCY OFFICIALS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR
ELEVATED TO CRITICAL FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ON WEDNESDAY AND
THURSDAY...AND FOR ELEVATED FIRE WEATHER CONDITIONS ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY.

.NOW...
SCATTERED SHOWERS AND A FEW EMBEDDED THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO
DEVELOP AND MOVE NORTHEAST AROUND 25 MPH ACROSS THE PANHANDLES EARLY THIS
EVENING. RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL GENERALLY REMAIN AROUND A TENTH OF AN
INCH OR LESS IN THE SHOWERS...HOWEVER THE STRONGER EMBEDDED
THUNDERSTORMS WILL BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING LOCALLY HEAVIER DOWNPOURS
AND WIND GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH. LOCATIONS ACROSS THE WESTERN HALF OF
THE PANHANDLES AS WELL AS THE SOUTHEAST TEXAS PANHANDLE WILL SEE THE
BEST CHANCE OF CATCHING A SCATTERED SHOWER OR EMBEDDED STORM THROUGH
7 PM.
